“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." ~ Margaret Mead
Process Design
Designing the conditions for meaningful work to take shape.
Sometimes you know what you need: a meeting, workshop, strategy session, community gathering, or series of conversations. The purpose is clear, but the process needs designing.
Other times, the need itself is still taking shape. Something needs to shift, be created, decided, explored, or brought into being, but you haven't yet figured out what form it should take or how to get there.
That's where process design comes in.
I work with you to understand what you're trying to accomplish, what the situation calls for, who needs to be involved, and what conditions will support the work. Together, we create a process with enough structure to move things forward while leaving room for what emerges along the way. I can take an existing idea and give it shape, or work from scratch with you.
There’s no single formula. Working with your people, purpose, context, goals, and resources, we discover your design.
Everything I do is rooted in relationship, so let’s start with a no-obligation 30-min exploration call.
You might come to me when:
You have a purpose but no process - you know something needs to happen, but not how to get there.
You have a group coming together and want help shaping the arc, activities, questions, and flow.
You’re bringing different people, perspectives, or interests together and need a process that holds complexity without flattening difference.
Something needs to be created, decided, explored, or changed, and requires more than a single conversation.
You are embarking on a longer organizational or community process and need help connecting the pieces.
You have a plan, process, or agenda built and want another perspective, feedback, or ideas to strengthen it.
Processes I've designed or co-designed include:
Three-day multi-stakeholder conferences bringing diverse perspectives into a shared space.
Federal Government to Indigenous Government strategy sessions where high stakes relationship, context, purpose, and direction may not allign.
Interactive workshops where teams create something new, explore possibilities, or find a way forward.
Multi-month organizational processes for defining new programs, developing systems, and bringing ideas into practice.
Community gatherings that remember and mark the Celtic Wheel of the Year through seasonal celebration, creative performance, and collective reflection.
Intimate rituals marking transition, change, or celebration
Workshop & retreat design from overall arc and sequence to the individual questions, inputs, activities, and transitions.

“Robin co-created an intimate ritual for myself, my partner, and closest friends as I was days away from giving birth for the first time. She helped us create a meaningful space where everyone could contribute in their own way, like a bouquet made up of all the different gifts my friends offer me. I felt witnessed, special, and a valued part of this community. There was power in remembering and practicing how our ancestors may have honoured this passage into motherhood.”

"Robin's years of experience in event design and execution sit palpably at the table in collaboration with her. Her commitment to integrity holds steady amidst the changing-currents of our times; an anchor in the storm. She's rooted in a collective and emergent wisdom that serves as an unshakable ally in these times."
